The sixteenth issue of Portal, the annual scientific and professional journal of the Croatian Conservation Institute, features 28 papers devoted to topics related to the research and conservation of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saints Stephen and Ladislaus in Zagreb. There are eight original scientific papers, six preliminary notifications, ten review articles, three professional papers and one scholarly essay.
The journal's editorial board would like to thank all associates, authors and reviewers who helped prepare and publish this issue of Portal. Also, all interested researchers are invited to submit new papers no later than 1 March 2026.
