The Croatian Conservation Institute announces the presentation of the project "The Four Evangelists in the Oeuvre of Mattia Preti" which encompasses the exhibition on the research and works performed on the two series of paintings representing the four Evangelists from the Dubrovnik churches Our Lady of Carmel (Gospa od Karmela) and Saint Blaise (Sveti Vlaho), attributed to the renowned Italian baroque artist and Knight of the Maltese Order, Mattia Preti, as well as short lectures on the project course and its results. The exhibition is held in Knežev dvor in Dubrovnik, and the opening is on Wednesday, 23 April 2014 at 19.00 hours.

Croatian Conservation Institute and the Musée d'anthropologie préhistorique de Monaco announce the opening of the Ljubićeva Cave exhibition on Thursday 28th November 2013 at 4 pm, at the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology in Monaco. The exhibition will remain open for public until 28th February 2014, after which it is scheduled to be presented at the Archaeological Museum of Istria in Pula and at the Marčana Municipality.

On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the conservation workshop in Dubrovnik, on 4th and 5th December 2013 the Croatian Conservation Institute will open the door to the public of its Dubrovnik conservation workshops in Villas Stay and Bunić-Kaboga, in order to present its activities in the territory of the City of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The programme of the two-day event will include lectures featured by an overview of the workshop’s activities and conservation work carried out at the Dubrovnik department, as well as a tour of the conservation workshops.

The Croatian Conservation Institute (Hrvatski restauratorski zavod) with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia organized a conference „Ethical Approach to Works of Art Made of Textiles“ which was held from October 23rd to 25th 2013 in the Museum Mimara in Zagreb, Croatia.
