The TrArS project is aimed at researching and presenting the artistic work of members of the Straub family of sculptors who worked in Central Europe in the eighteenth century and left behind a religious heritage of the highest art value.
Besides the Croatian Conservation Institute, project partners are the Bavarian State Department of Monuments and Sites, Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, and the Universities of Ljubljana and Graz, together with associate researchers from other heritage, religious, scientific and educational institutions. The project is co-funded by the European Commission through the Creative Europe Programme.

The local heirs are crucial to the preservation of their own heritage: they recognize places, objects, customs, and traditions as an expression of their values, knowledge and beliefs.
