The Museums of Hrvatsko Zagorje presented an exhibition of some fifty works of church art from 22 sites in the Krapina-Zagorje County, organized in three thematic units (Devastations, Conservations and Restorations).
Exhibited artworks were preventively protected or fully restored during a several-year-long protection project carried out in the Croatian Conservation Institute and initiated by the Conservation Department in Zagreb. Exhibited alongside the artworks is the photo documentation of their state before and after conservation, presenting the protection and conservation-restoration procedures.
