Virovitica, Franciscan Monastery of St. Rocco, July 2004
A presentation was staged to mark the completion of conservation-restoration work on the Last Supper painting from the Refectory of Franciscan Monastery of St. Rocco in Virovitica.

The painting, measuring 215 by 655 cm, was created in 1767. It is the sole Baroque style depiction of the subject preserved in the monasteries of the Croatian Franciscan Province of Saints Cyril and Methodius. The painting is unsigned, however it is presumed to have been painted by a Styrian Franciscan painter, lay brother Damjen Bittner together with another lay brother, probably the Bavarian Luka Auleitner.
The painting was restored in the Croatian Conservation Institute from September 2003 to June 2004.
