An excellent turnout from experts and representatives of international organizations (UNESCO, the Council of Europe, ICOMOS, ICCROM, E.C.C.O.) insured that the conference presentations met highest standards and were diverse and informative. Debates were initiated in several very important fields (organizing conservation-restoration on a state level, public sector’s interests, quality control, university education, restoration and heritage management).
