International professional conference, Ludbreg, Croatian Conservation Institute / Ludbreg Conservation Centre, 18th-19th May 2001
17 lecturers from Croatia, Slovenia, Bavaria and Italy gave presentations during the two-day professional conference. The conference’s objective was to establish principles for the proper maintenance, storage, exhibition, transportation and cleaning of artefacts, aimed both at preventing the emergence or further deterioration of damaged surfaces and slowing down the process of decay in order to bring the number of necessary restoration operations to their minimum. About 145 persons attended the conference at the Ludbreg Conservation Centre.
