A photo documentary exhibition presented the course of archaeological research and conservation-restoration work on the monument, carried out by the Croatian Conservation Institute. The exhibition presented the works of Venetian 17th century painters in Istria, which were restored in the Croatian Conservation Institute from 1995 to 2003, as part of its Conservation and restoration of 17th and 18th century paintings in Istria programme.

A bronze statue of young athlete from ancient Greece, who scrapes a dust and oil layer off his body, was discovered by accident in 1996 on a sandy seabed off the Vele Orjule Island near Lošinj. It was covered in marine sediments and algae.

A photo documentary exhibition presented the research and conservation-restoration work which the Croatian Conservation Institute carried out on the Chapel of Sts. John and Paul, along with the project to rehabilitate the war-devastated Parish Church of the Assumption of the Virgin in Gora near Petrinja.
