Požega, Old Silk Mill (Conservation Department in Požega), June 2010
The exhibition presented a restoration of four tile stoves, which was carried out by the Croatian Conservation Institute in cooperation with the Conservation Department of the Ministry of Culture, thus drawing attention to a significant yet still insufficiently valorized part of cultural heritage.

The Baroque building of the former silk mill in Požega houses three tile stoves, differing in their date of origin and style characteristics. They bear witness to a 19th century conversion of the Old Silk Mill - from a manufacture into a representative town house - demonstrating a high level of housing culture in Požega at the time, along with the fourth tile stove which once belonged to the Trenkovo Castle.
The complex three-year conservation-restoration work was carried out by the Croatian Conservation Institute, after which three stoves were returned to its original place at the Old Silk Mill. The fourth was returned to the City of Požega to be used not only as a museum exhibit, but as a functionally renovated part of the historic interior.
