Rab, Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, April 2005
The crucifix from the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral in Rab, from the second half of the 16th century was restored in the Croatian Conservation Institute prior to being returned to its owner. It was exhibited to mark the completion of the Cathedral complex’s full scale restoration.

The heavily damaged crucifix was brought to the Croatian Conservation Institute's workshops in parts. It was consolidated, recomposed and restored in 2005. An accompanying photo documentary exhibition presented the conservation-restoration work on the artwork.
