Peristyle of Diocletian's Palace: Conservation-Restoration Work, 2002–2005

The DVD presents the first phase of the project of complete rehabilitation and conservation of Diocletian's Palace Peristyle, which lasted from 2002 to 2005. Investigations and work on the northern part of the eastern colonnade included documentation of the current condition, the detailing of all types of injury, a precise diagnosis of the monument’s condition and the cleaning of surfaces – by combining chemical and mechanical methods, the use of laser technology and the consolidation and protection of stone surfaces.
