This richly illustrated publication presents articles on the conservation-restoration treatments of paintings from the Our Lady of Carmel Church, carried out in the Croatian Conservation Institute's workshops. The book also features a number of art historical studies which trace the construction phases of the church, along with studies of works done by such distinguished painters as Angelo Canini, Andrea Vaccaro, Bartolome Litterini and Sebastiano Ricci, situating them in the context of their time.
